Kansas Disappointing For NASCAR Ford Truck Teams: Video

The Blue Oval’s struggles continued at Kansas Speedway on May 4^th, 2024, as only one Ford F-150 race truck finished inside the top 10 at the 1.5-mile oval while a Toyota claimed the trophy.

Th3 sole F-150 was the No. 88 NASCAR Ford of Matt Crafton, who came home 10^th. He drove a quiet race, and did not lead any laps during the event. The next-best Ford finisher was the No. 99 F-150 of Ben Rhodes, who finished 16^th, leading a slew of Blue Oval racers across the line: the No. 13 F-150 of Jake Garcia in 17^th; the No. 38 F-150 of Layne Riggs in 18^th; and the No. 66 F-150 of Australian Supercars regular Cam Waters in 19^th.

Meanwhile, Ty Majeski, who earned the second-best starting position in the No. 98 NASCAR Ford, didn’t have a day worth writing home about. In fact, he brought up the rear of the 33-truck field. Just two laps in, Majeski’s race truck suffered a tire failure that sent him into the wall and forced him to retire from the race, leaving Kansas disappointed.

Up front, Corey Heim, driver of the No. 11 Toyota TRD Tundra, led the No. 91 Chevy Silverado RST across the line to win.
