The 2024 Ford Maverick offers quite a few optional packages for every trim level. Below, Ford Authority makes things easy by outlining exactly what’s included in every package, what they cost, and how to get them.
As a reminder, the 2024 Maverick trim level lineup consists of XL, XLT, and Lariat. With that in mind, package availability depends on trim level, so let’s take a look at what’s offered on the extremely popular compact pickup.
4K Tow Package
The 4K Tow Package (option code 53Q) is offered on the 2024 Maverick XL, XLT and Lariat trims. However, it’s important to note that this package cannot be added to models featuring the 2.5L hybrid powertrain, front-wheel-drive, or Advanced AWD. This package costs $745 and bundles the following equipment:
- 225/65R17 A/S BSW Tires on XL/XLT Only
- 225/60R18 A/S BSW Tires (Standard on Lariat)
- Trailer Brake Controller
- Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Seven-pin Connector
- Transmission Oil Cooler
- Higher Capacity Radiator
- Upgraded Cooling Fan
- Upgraded Drive Ratio (AWD)
Meanwhile, the 4K Tow Package also offers the following optional equipment, which can be added in conjunction with the aforementioned accessories for an extra cost:
- 17-inch Wheel
- Includes 235/65R17 Aggressive A/T Tire (XLT/Lariat Only)
- Rotary Gear Shift Dial Includes Select Drive Modes:
- Normal, Mud/Rut, Slippery, Sand and Tow/Haul
- Skid Plates
- Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Four-Pin Connector
- Higher Capacity Radiator

Ford Co-Pilot 360 Package
Offered on the 2024 Ford Maverick XL and XLT for $650, the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Package (option code 86B) includes the following technologies:
- Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert
- Full-Size Spare (2.5L Hybrid Engine only)
- Lane-Keeping System (Lane-Keeping Aid, Lane-Keeping Alert and Driver Alert

As the name implies, the XLT Luxury Package (option code 54L) is offered on the Maverick XLT. This bundle costs $2,275 and adds the following equipment to the compact pickup:

The expansive Tremor Off-Road Package (option code 17V) is offered on the 2024 Ford Maverick XLT and Lariat trims with Advanced AWD only; it’s not offered on FWD models, and cannot be equipped in conjunction with the Black Appearance Package. Goodies included in this $3,495 package are as follows:

Black Appearance Package
The Black Appearance Package (option code 59D) is a $1,645 option on the Maverick XLT and Lariat trims. It requires the XLT Luxury Package also be equipped on XLT models, and it cannot be added alongside the FX4 Off-Road Package or the Tremor Off-Road Package. This package includes the following content, all of which are colored Black:
- 18-inch Unique Machined-face Ebony Aluminum Wheel
- Black Edition Ford Logo – Front and Back
- Grille
- Interior Accents
- Seats
- Headlamps
- Taillamps
FX4 Off-Road Package
The $800 FX4 Off-Road Package (option code 17S) is optional on the 2024 Ford Maverick XLT and Lariat trims. It cannot be added with the Black Appearance Package, and requires AWD. This bundle includes the following:
- 17-inch Unique Aluminum Wheel
- A/T Tires
- 6.5-inch Productivity Screen in Instrument Cluster (Standard on Lariat)
- Exposed Front Tow Hooks
- FX4 Off-Road Box Decal (Replaces Tailgate AWD Badge)

As a reminder, the 2024 Ford Maverick dropped the 2.5L hybrid engine as standard, making the 2.0L EcoBoost I4 the new standard powerhouse for the compact pickup. The Lariat trim also underwent quite a few changes, gaining standard packages and features that were previously optional. The SecuriCode keypad was also deleted, although owners interested in the security feature can still opt to have it installed at the dealer. The ,anual siding rear window and windshield wiper de-icer were dropped, too.
Pricing for the 2024 Maverick starts at $23,400 for the base XL trim, which is slightly more expensive than its 2023 model year counterpart. Production of the compact pickup commenced at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico in October 2023, reaching an all-time high in April 2024.

Doesn’t the 4K tow package come with a full size spare?
It doesn’t show it on the 4K tow description, but it shows up as an included no charge option on Ford’s build and price site after you add the 4K. Without the 4K it’s a $115 option.
Co pilot 360 comes with a full size spare as well as remote control outside mirrors. The XL without it has manual mirrors.
More crap less substance more profiteering.
An AWD hybrid or a PHEV should not be difficult for Ford to offer.
The 2024 ford mavericks do not start out at 24,400 it wrong, it start out at 24,920 now… I got my windows stickers on a xl on may 21 2024, you ford authorities need to update it to the new price…
I’m looking for a XL with the addition of a trailer hitch, bed Matt, and floor liners … has Ford corrected the “connect issues” concerning Apple/Android phone issues ?
Why are we talking about all these options on the 2024 models, when the 2025’s are just around the corner?
Because there are plenty of good deals to be made on the 2024 Mavericks. Ford dealers are willing to take on offers more than before. We just purchased an XLT with Ford 360 and the Luxury Package for the price of a standard XLT !
