Long gone but certainly not forgotten, the Ford F-150 SVT Lightning remains a popular entity not only among folks that appreciate a good old fashioned street performance truck, but also, collectors. In that vein, we’ve seen quite a few nice Ford F-150 SVT Lightning pickups hit the auction block over the years, typically garnering solid money – even in the case of examples that have higher miles or modifications. Now, we have yet another seller example to bid on, too.
That is this incredibly clean 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, which has just 2k original miles and is currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer. It’s number 779 of 4,000 built in this particular model year, and certainly one of the nicest of that bunch, sporting flawless black paint, along with zero modifications that may otherwise impact its value in a negative way.
The same goes for the interior, which has no flaws to note and features Medium Graphite cloth and Ebony leather upholstery paired with amenities such as a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a six-disc CD changer, air conditioning, and cruise control. Power comes from the supercharged 5.4L V8 Triton engine, which in this guise was factory-rated to produce 360 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.55 gears.
It’s tough to say what this gorgeous 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning will sell for once the hammer falls, but judging by some recently listed models, it should garner plenty of interest – and dollars. We’ve seen this time and time again over the past few months via second-generation SVT Lightning pickups such as this 3k-mile 1999 model, a 2000 pickup with 17k miles, a 4k-mile 2002, and a 21k-mile 2001 Lightning.
