A surprising amount of low-mileage Ford Focus sedans and wagons have crossed the digital auction block recently, like an impressive 2002 Focus LX that’s not even broken in with less than 200 miles on the odometer, another with 43,000 racked up, and a third with just over 61,000 miles under its wheels. Another example with relatively low mileage is currently up for grabs, and this 2002 Ford Focus SE wagon boasts just 62,000 miles traveled in over two decades on the road.
Available on Bring a Trailer, this 2002 Ford Focus wagon has lived its entire life in Florida. It’s finished in a subtle coat of CD Silver and rolls on a set of 15-inch wheels, while other handy exterior accessories include a roof rack and power-adjustable mirrors. A report shows a minor fender bender on its record in 2003, which resulted in rear-end damage, although it has since been repaired.
Inside, this 2002 Ford Focus features Medium Graphite cloth seats that are in great shape considering its age. A color-coordinated dashboard and center console completes the look, while a four-spoke steering wheel is situated in front of the 140 mph speedometer. Approximately 300 miles were added under current ownership, and the seller notes that it recently underwent some routine maintenance, including an oil change and new spark plugs, in April 2024.
Speaking of the engine, this 2002 Focus harnesses the 2.0L I4 engine, which is factory rated at 130 horsepower and 135 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the front two wheels by way of the four-speed automatic transmission. The seller also notes that minor corrosion is present on the vehicle’s underbody, but all in all, it’s not in bad shape by any means.
At the time of this writing, the high bid is $4,000, and the auction will close on June 7th, 2024. While it might not be the flashiest car on the road, there’s still plenty of life left in this 2002 Ford Focus for someone in need of an affordable daily driver.

Another junker !!! Junk then junk now. Do people realize there are more Pintos left than Focus’s!!! I’m a Ford mechanic and I really had high hopes for the Focus. Unfortunately they were cheap, cheap, cheap!!!! They fell apart. Both engines self destructed. Dropping valve seats etc. Corrosion issues and just low quality components. Typical Ford. That’s why Toyota’s and Hondas are so much better. It hurts me to say it. I was at the dealership for over 20 years and now I won’t buy one now.
