2008 Ford F-150 XLT Foose Edition Up For Auction

Many aftermarket companies have churned out their own versions of the perennially best-selling Ford F-150 over the years, a list that includes the likes of Hennessey Performance, Saleen, and Roush Performance, to name just a small number of them – some rarer than others. However, one specific Ford F-150 variant that many may not be aware of is the Foose Edition, named for Chip Foose, who is a rather famous automotive designer.

Now, this Canadian market 2008 Ford F-150 XLT Foose Edition is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, which should help a few of those folks learn a little bit about this special, special edition pickup. Imported into the U.S. just last year, this F-150 has a mere 2,800 kilometers (1,700 miles) on the odometer, and is in great shape as a result. On the outside, the Ford F-150 Foose Edition sports unique features such as silver and red graphics, Foose decals, a body kit, and 22-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, one will notice Foose logos embroidered on the headrests and floor mats, while sport-tuned shocks firm up the ride underneath. Otherwise, this is basically just a regular old F-150 inside, with black leather seating and the typical amenities one would expect to find. That isn’t the case under the hood, however.

There, the optional Foose Supercharger Package adds a Roush blower to the stock 5.4L V8, which is joined by a revised intake manifold, an air-to-water intercooler system, and a new engine calibration, helping it send 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. In like-new condition with no big noted flaws, this Ford F-150 Foose Edition figures to conjure up plenty of interest at auction, especially since we don’t see many of them surface for sale in any kind of condition.
