Though few may currently consider the Ford Flex to be a collectible vehicle that may one day turn into an appreciating asset, we are slowly starting to see some nicer examples of the discontinued model pop up for auction these days. Late last month, a 2009 Ford Flex surfaced for sale with just 9k miles on the clock, which is a startlingly low number for any vehicle of that vintage, but it apparently isn’t alone, as it has now been joined by this very nice 2011 Ford Flex SEL.
This particular Ford Flex has just 39k miles showing on the odometer and is currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer in nearly new condition as well. In fact, the auction listing doesn’t note any flaws marring its Ingot Silver Metallic exterior paint or trim, though it is wearing a set of 18-inch wheels with mismatched Goodyear Assurance and Nitto Crosstek tires, at least.
The same is true of the interior, which features surprisingly fresh Medium Light Stone cloth upholstery and an array of amenities including heated power-adjustable front bucket seats, woodgrain trim accents, a SYNC stereo system with a CD player, ambient lighting, power windows, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and front and rear climate control.
Power for this Ford Flex comes from the automaker’s naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6, which in this guise was factory rated to generate 262 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which sends that power exclusively to the front wheels. In stellar condition with no apparent flaws, this 2011 Ford Flex should have plenty of appeal for anyone that’s a fan of the unique model, as it’s easily among the nicest ones we’ve seen in a while.
We’ll have more interesting auction finds to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Flex news and continuous Ford news coverage.

I am always interested in low mileage Fords Lincolns and Mercury’s
Nice vehicle but where are you going to get specific parts for it ? Not from Ford. They have quietly discontinuing parts. I needed a Body Control Module for a 2019 Explorer a little while back, OBSOLETE !!!! I thought he was kidding. He wasn’t. It has nothing to do with the BS “chip” shortage. Fuse boxes, smart junction boxes and a variety of other components. They used to have parts going back for quite a while. Not anymore. BTW there is no government regulation they have to support vehicles for any length of time. Sad
Flex was a great vehicle, of course dropped it. Ford also not having parts now for older vehicles after five years, some one needs to buy Ford out(Honda, Kia, VW).
