Back in April 2023, the very first units of the Ford F-150 pickup arrived in Brazil as the automaker continues to revamp its lineup in the South American country following its decision to cease manufacturing operations there years ago. The longtime best-seller in the U.S. wasted no time appealing to Brazilian shoppers, who scooped up the first batch of 500 pickups available to purchase in that country in “record time,” according to the automaker. Now, perhaps unsurprisingly, the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 is set to launch in Brazil, too.
The 2024 Ford F-150 will launch in Brazil in the second-half of this year, though at this time, The Blue Oval hasn’t shared any details regarding what trim levels, configurations, or powertrains will be available in that country – nor has it revealed pricing. Regardless, the continued presence of the F-150 in Brazil means that the popular pickup will continue to be sold in a variety of global markets including the U.S., China, Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, and South America.
“The F-150 has built its global leadership because it is a product that is constantly evolving and innovating, always ahead of trends and anticipating the needs of the market,” said Martín Galdeano, president of Ford South America. “The launch of the new model is part of our commitment to continuous improvement to offer customers the best in pickup trucks.”
The refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 will soon join the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang, which just arrived in Brazil this past March in one flavor – the GT powered by the naturally-aspirated 5.0L V8 Coyote engine. As for the 2024 F-150, it began shipping to customers in the U.S. back in April following a bit of a delay stemming from a series of quality checks that the automaker says helped it avoid a dozen recalls.
