2024 Ford Mustang GT Heads To Argentina Later This Year

Following its launch in the U.S., the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang has since landed in other parts of the globe, including Brazil – where the first 150 examples of that pony car sold out in just one hour. Thus, it should come as no big surprise to learn that the 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance model – which is the same (and only) variant currently sold in Brazil – will also be heading to the South American country of Argentina as well, the automaker has announced.

Pre-sales for the 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance model are set to open up in Argentina this August, with the first deliveries expected to begin a month later, in September. It also continues a tradition that stems back to 2016, which is when the Mustang first went on sale in Argentina, where it quickly became the best-selling sports car in that country – a title that it still holds to this day. The new Mustang joins a handful of other new products in Argentina, including the Ford Bronco Wildtrak and E-Transit.

The 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance model comes equipped with an array of desirable equipment, including the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, and it’s mated exclusively to the 10-speed automatic transmission, along with the Remote Rev feature, which FoMoCo’s Brazilian engineering team helped develop.

Other notable mechanical upgrades include the MagneRide suspension system, stabilizer bars taken from the last-gen Mach 1, Brembo brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, and unique wheels wrapped with P-Zero 255/40 R19 tires up front and 275/40 R19 in the rear. In Brazil, the Mustang GT Performance is offered in eight exterior colors – Zadar Red, Arizona Red, Estoril Blue, Algarve Blue, Arctic White, Torres Gray, Catalonia Gray, and Asturias Black – and features a starting price of R$529,000 ($106,235 USD). However, Ford hasn’t yet revealed its list of available colors or pricing for Argentina yet.
