We’ve known for some time now that the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is set to usher in a mid-cycle refresh for the rugged crossover, which debuted for the 2021 model year. Ford Authority has spotted a few 2025 Ford Bronco Sport prototypes out testing in recent months as well, including what appeared to be a Badlands trimmed model wearing precisely zero camouflage. Now, Ford Authority has spotted what appears to be the same 2025 Bronco Sport prototype yet again, though this time, with another interesting feature on display.
That feature is a set of rear tow hooks, which we can clearly see in these new photos. Currently, the Bronco Sport only offers a single recovery point out back, but it’s clear from this prototype that it may offer two spots. The current Bronco Sport Badlands does offer front tow hooks at this time, and they’re also present on this prototype and another following behind it, as we can see here.
This blue 2025 Ford Bronco Sport prototype was joined by a white example – also not wearing any camo – which also looks like it could be a Badlands model as well. Both sport slightly revised headlight and front bumper designs, along with integrated skid plates in the front and rear – both of which house the aforementioned tow hooks. Currently, only the Bronco Sport Badlands comes equipped with tow hooks, making it likely that we’re looking at the refreshed version of that off-road-focused trim level.
Moving down the side, we can see a brand new wheel design and an interesting set of tires – which are Goodyears, rather than the 235/65R17 Falken Wildpeak all-terrain rubber that’s on the current Badlands model, though they are the same size, at least. This particular model sports a 360-degree camera system, too.
In addition to these somewhat minor exterior styling updates, we also know that the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport mid-cycle refresh will bring about a few other changes to the relatively new model, including some interior revisions such as the addition of a larger infotainment screen.
We’ll have more on the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco Sport news and comprehensive Ford news coverage.

Love my 2024 Badlands but would’ve liked the bigger info screen and 360° cameras.
How about one front hook on the Transit first.
It might just be me but it looks like their ground clearance might be a bit higher than the 2024 model.
I think the interior should use a much better grade of plastic. For the asking price, it should be a lot more durable. Study Mazda.
Any idea when the 2025 version will hit the road?
