Over the past few months, Ford Authority has spotted a number of 2025 Ford Bronco Sport prototypes out testing – many of them completely uncovered and wearing no camouflage whatsoever, which has given us a good look at some of the updates coming as part of the crossover’s mid-cycle refresh. Now, Ford Authority has spotted yet another 2025 Ford Bronco Sport, this time, sporting a feature that we haven’t seen previously.
That feature is a brush bar, which is mounted in the same location as tow hooks spotted on previous prototypes – in an open portion of the revamped front bumper, which seems to double as a skid plate underneath. This brush bar looks a lot like the one that’s been available as an option on the regular Ford Bronco since its launch for the 2021 model year, and is bolted into the aforementioned open spaces in what appears to be a pretty straightforward installation
This brush bar has been designed to clear the front-facing camera in the grille – which is located between the “O” and “N” in its Bronco lettering, too. Its presence is quite notable given the fact that at the moment, Ford doesn’t offer a factory brush bar option for the Bronco Sport. It’s currently unclear if this new part will be available as an option, as is the case with the Bronco, or if Ford will offer it via its accessories catalog, however.
Meanwhile, this brush bar is just one a few new features we’ve seen on 2025 Ford Bronco Sport prototypes in recent weeks. That list also includes rear tow hooks – which haven’t yet been offered on that model – along with a load-bearing attachment point in the front fender, which can also be seen on this prototype.
The 2025 Bronco Sport also features slightly revised headlight and front bumper designs, plus Goodyear tires rather than the 235/65R17 Falken Wildpeak all-terrain rubber that’s present on the current Badlands model, along with a 360-degree camera system and a larger infotainment screen inside the cabin.
We’ll have more on the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco Sport news and continuous Ford news coverage.
