Ford Brazil Sales Jumped 47 Percent In May 2024

Ford Brazil sales increased 47 percent to 3,599 units in May 2024 compared to May 2023.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales totaled 154 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 0 units
Ford F-Series sales decreased 68.39 percent to 61 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 183.18 percent to 303 units
Ford Mustang sales decreased 48.72 percent to 20 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 47.73 percent to 2,306 units
Ford Territory sales increased 306.54 percent to 435 units
Ford Transit sales increased 20.31 percent to 308 units

During the first five months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales increased 53 percent to 15,433 units.

Ford Brazil sales increased healthily in May, marking the second consecutive month of increases for the Blue Oval brand in the South American country. Ford’s strong performance last month contrasts with the decline of other automakers in the Brazilian market, such as those that manufacture locally, which were affected by logistical difficulties and falling sales.

In fact, most of Ford Brazil’s models recorded strong double- and triple-digit increases in May – including the brand’s three best-selling nameplates in the country. Once again, the Ford Ranger led the pack, which not only cements its position as the brand’s best-selling model but also strengthens its position as of the most popular pickups in the country.

In addition, the Ford Territory stands out for its dramatic increase, quadrupling its registrations year after year and marking the highest growth rate of the entire Ford portfolio. The Ford Bronco Sport also had a high triple-digit increase, improving its position in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
