Ford Colombia Sales Jump 51 Percent In April 2024

Ford Colombia sales increased 51 percent to 622 units in April 2024 compared to April 2023.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 45.71 percent to 51 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 3 units
Ford EcoSport sales totaled 0 units
Ford Edge sales increased 50 percent to 9 units
Ford Escape sales increased 368.42 percent to 267 units
Ford Expedition sales totaled 7 units
Ford Explorer sales increased 7.5 percent to 43 units
Ford F-150 Lightning sales totaled 0 units
Ford F-Series sales decreased 28.57 percent to 25 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 200 percent to 12 units
Ford Ranger sales decreased 12.77 percent to 205 units

During the first four months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Colombia sales increased 34 percent to 2,379 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Once again, Ford Colombia sales recorded a healthy double-digit increase during April. Last month’s growth represents Ford’s seventh consecutive increase and once again contrasted with the performance of the Colombian automotive market, which on this occasion registered an increase, albeit a much lower rate than the American automaker.

Most Ford Colombia models managed to increase their registrations in April, with notable increases of up to three digits. The Ford Escape continued to lead the growth streak, with a drastic increase of 368 percent and more than 210 additional units compared to last year, consolidating it as the brand’s best-selling model in the Colombian market.

Only the Ford Ranger and Ford F-150 pickup trucks posted negative sales figures in April, when they continued their weak sales performance that contrasts with the rest of the models. In fact, Ranger registrations have still not managed to take off despite the arrival of the new generation model.
