So while growing a significant sales base with EV models is a long-term prospect, Ford leads the way in the U.S. And for its part, The Blue Oval isn’t forcing anyone into EVs, instead offering a multitude of choices for consumers to go with those, including of its full stable of traditional ICE-based vehicles, plus hybrids in all forms, including plug-in hybrid EVs, with plans to offer an electrified version of every vehicle in the Ford Blue (ICE) lineup by 2030. The Blue Oval is even considering extended-range EVs after the debut of the debut of the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger as a new F-150 rival.
In fact, this past spring, Ford debuted a new “Freedom of Choice” ad campaign to clearly make its point, shown here below:

Where is the next Ford EV? Will it be the electric Ranger? Or the European Capri?
Sales % are a joke. Sell 10 vehicles one quarter than 20 vehicles next quarter sales went up 100%. Sounds great but sure not going to stay in business very long.
True. There should also be a footnote if there were external issues curtailing supply or slowing delivery; the UAW strike for example or a model changeover. Weather can also create delivery delays that can skew numbers. In the EV case I’m pretty sure the increase is due to lack of availability in the previous period due to curtailed strike production.
So right!!!! It is basically meaningless, but it sounds Good!!! Typical corporate mumbo-jumbo!
