Ford Motor Company Mexico sales increased 23 percent to 4,712 units in May 2024. Sales increased at both Ford and Lincoln.

Brand & Model Sales

Ford sales increased 22.64 percent to 4,582 units:

Ford Bronco sales increased 7.89 percent to 123 units
Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 5.3 percent to 338 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 29 units
Ford Edge sales decreased 71.43 percent to 10 units
Ford Escape sales increased 109.43 percent to 222 units
Ford Expedition sales decreased 3.28 percent to 59 units
Ford Explorer sales decreased 35.19 percent to 70 units
Ford F-Series sales increased 50.92 percent to 1,233 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 2.76 percent to 186 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 206.25 percent to 98 units
Ford Mustang Mach-E sales increased 700 percent to 24 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 33.33 percent to 548 units
Ford Territory sales increased 15.66 percent to 1,226 units
Ford Transit sales increased 7.49 percent to 416 units
Ford Transit Courier sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units

Lincoln sales increased 32.65 percent to 130 units:

Lincoln Aviator sales decreased 54.55 percent to 10 units
Lincoln Corsair sales increased 36.84 percent to 26 units
Lincoln Nautilus sales increased 174.07 percent to 74 units
Lincoln Navigator sales decreased 33.33 percent to 20 units

In the first five months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Motor Mexico sales increased 27 percent to 21,694 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Ford Motor Company Mexico sales momentum in May further expands the manufacturer’s recent success in the Latin American country, where FoMoCo has been increasing its market share thanks to a fresh product lineup. Notably, May represents the company’s 15th consecutive monthly increase in the Mexican market.

The vast majority of Ford Motor Mexico models posted healthy increases during the month of May, led by the F-Series truck line which posted a substantial double-digit rise and more than 400 additional deliveries year-over-year. In fact, the F-Series was the company’s best-selling nameplate for the month, beating out the Ford Territory by just 7 units.

Meanwhile, the Ford Territory also achieved a healthy sales increase in May, and remains well ahead as the best-selling model year-to-date. Also notable were the dramatic triple-digit increases for the Ford Escape, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Ford Mustang, and Lincoln Nautilus – which continue their rise in popularity among customers in the country.
