Over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of Ford-involved crashes, many of them that squarely belong in the categories of improbable, eyebrow-raising, or, then again, ones that simply make us want to shake our heads in disbelief. Ford trucks – which are routinely among the best-selling new and used vehicles in the U.S. – are often the subject of those types of wild crashes, and that was once again the case in Nevada recently.
According to News 4, a white Ford truck (the exact model is unknown at the moment) was traveling southbound on US-395 in Clear Acre near Reno when the driver made what Nevada State Police describe as an “unsafe” lane change, which caused several other vehicles to crash – seven in total, in fact. Making matters worse, this incident occurred in a work zone, where some road construction was underway at the time, though no workers were hurt.
The Ford truck reported drove into the work zone as a result of its unsafe lane change, shockingly enough, but the driver didn’t bother to stop and help anyone, nor wait for authorities to arrive. Rather, they drove off and continued to head south on 395, and now, police are asking the public to help locate them.
Thankfully, none of the occupants of the seven vehicles involved in the subsequent crash suffered any kind of major injuries, though all lanes of traffic were closed while Nevada State Police conducted their investigation. Regardless, this is just the latest example of a Ford -involved hit and run crash we’ve see recently, a list that includes a Ford F-350 that smacked a Tesla Model 3 and took off, a Ford Fusion that wrecked after trying to flee the scene of an accident its driver caused, a Ford EcoSport driver in Florida that was arrested after committing a similar crime, and a Ford Ranger that actually wound up on top of another Ford Ranger.

If only he had the latest Blue Cruise update promised to us for over a year. Another tragedy that could have been avoided if Ford only hired competent software developers.
The comedians of misdirected ford brandings may need life lessons on being funny! That ford owner/driver acted like a immature teenager, not a wise mature man and act accordingly!
