After a slow start to the season, things are looking up for the NASCAR Ford stable as the Cup Series heads to Nashville Superspeedway on June 30th, 2024. To that end, sports betting enthusiasts shouldn’t sleep on The Blue Oval in Tennessee, although some Ford Mustang Dark Horse teams are looking better than others heading into this weekend’s race.
According to the latest odds on NASCAR.com, Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 NASCAR Ford, is the safest bet among Blue Oval drivers, favored at 10-1 odds despite bad luck at the track last year. Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Mustang, is also a pretty good bet, slotting in with 18-1 odds of winning this weekend. So is Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Mustang, at 22-1 odds.
No. 17 NASCAR Ford driver Chris Buescher is also a good shot at 30-1 odds, although it’s quite a jump to the next Blue Oval racer – Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang, is favored at 55-1 odds. A much longer shot is Noah Gragson, No. 10 Mustang, at 90-1 odds, followed by Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Mustang (and recent Toyota turncoat), along with No. 2 Mustang driver, Austin Cindric, both at 100-1. Michael McDowell’s No. 34 Mustang, meanwhile, clocks in at 110-1 odds to take it all at Nashville.
The rest of the NASCAR Ford field is a risk for sports betting. Todd Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Mustang, is rated at 250-1 odds, while Ryan Preece’s No. 41 Mustang is rated at 400-1 odds, as is Justin Haley’s No. 51 Mustang. Finally, those willing to take a massive risk should take a look at Harrison Burton, driver of the No. 21 Mustang, at 500-1 odds, or even Truck Series regular Riley Herbst at 1,000-1 odds, assuming he qualifies for the Cup Series this weekend.
