The Lincoln Mark VIII may no longer be around – in fact, it was discontinued years ago, along with every other passenger car in the luxury brand’s lineup – but it still has a lot of appeal on the second-hand market. In fact, we’ve seen a host of nice, low-mile Lincoln Mark VIII examples hit the collector car auction circuit as of late, and subsequently command quite a bit of interest from those that are fans of the big, stylish coupe. Now, we have another one to add to that list, too.
This latest example is a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII that’s currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer, and it has a rather low 22k miles on the odometer. It has also lived its entire life in sunny, dry California, and as a result, looks basically brand new. There are a couple of scratches marring its Portofino Blue Metallic paint, along with a faded decklid badge, but otherwise, there aren’t too many bones to pick on the outside.
The same goes for the interior, which features power-adjustable front bucket seats finished in Light Graphite leather, along with amenities such as automatic climate control, cruise control, and an onboard computer. Power comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.6L V8, which in this guise was factory-rated to send 280 horsepower and 285 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
This super sanitary Lincoln Mark VIII is one of several we’ve seen cross the auction block over the past few months. That list also includes a 1998 model with just 274 miles, a 1997 with 26k miles, and a 1993 model with 30k miles, to name just a few.
We’ll have more cool auction finds like this to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Lincoln news and ongoing Ford news coverage.

Just my opinion but that is about as ugly a car as you can get. I am a Ford guy but not a Lincoln
that looks like that. Reminds me of a Ford Taurus.
It’s a lot nicer than the “cars” Lincoln offers today.
Not a big fan of the rolling jelly bean school of design that populated this period of Ford design. However, if you were this appears to be a basically new 1995 vehicle for hardly any money. Also, does it seem that the quality of leather back in this era, was much better than you see today.
It was a stunning looking car when it came out especially compared to more conservative gm.
It is a comfortable nice riding car, but I would stay away simply because of that air suspension, it can be a Real nightmare!
The mark series to me is the most glamorous and quality build Autos ever. I had 1976 nark, 1987 mark and 1 1997 mark. Wish I had them still.
