A popular entity among enthusiasts from the day it launched, the Ford Taurus SHO went on to enjoy critical success as well, and wound up living through multiple generations – even though the later model ditched its Yamaha-developed engine from the first generation. Regardless, even later examples of the Ford Taurus SHO have become at least fairly collectible, though we’d wager not many of them have as few miles on the clock as this 2010 model.
This 2010 Ford Taurus SHO has just 210 miles showing on the odometer, in fact, and it’s also currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the sporty sedan has remained in the possession of the original owner for its entire life – at least, until last month, when it was purchased by the selling dealer. It still wears its original tires as a result, and its Tuxedo Black Metallic paint is in perfect condition with no noted flaws.
The same goes for the interior, which features heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable seats upholstered in Charcoal Black leather with Umber Miko microsuede inserts, along with dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system, the Sony 12-speaker audio system, and various other amenities. Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which was factory-rated to send 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels through the six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
Given its low mileage total, it’ll be interesting to see what this 2010 Ford Taurus SHO ultimately sells for, but it certainly isn’t the first nice example we’ve seen pop up for auction as of late. In fact, that list also includes another 2010 model with 76k miles, as well as a 2016 with 30k miles on the clock.
We’ll have more cool auction finds to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Taurus news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
