Though it was removed from Ford’s U.S. lineup years ago, the Ford Focus continues to be sold in Europe – at least, until next year, when the long-running model will be discontinued there, too. However, that same model continues to be a popular entity on the collector car auction circuit, where we’ve seen quite a few nice, lower-mile Focus models pop up for sale as of late. That list often consists of the high-performance Ford Focus ST, and now, another example of that particular model has surfaced for sale, too.
This 2016 Ford Focus ST has just 33k miles on the clock and is currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, looking basically as good as new in the provided photos. The seller just acquired this Ford Focus ST last year and added around 3k miles to the odometer, and now, the Tangerine Scream Metallic Tri-Coat hot hatch is up for grabs yet again. Notably, it did suffer a scrape to the front bumper last year, but instead of having it repaired, the seller simply opted to use touch-up paint to cover that up.
The Charcoal Black leather-trimmed interior is also in great shape, and features heated Recaro front bucket seats, a SYNC infotainment system with navigation, a CD stereo, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which in this case has been fortified with a Ford Performance Focus ST calibration kit and a Mountune USA intercooler and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Of course, this is just the latest in a rather long line of Ford Focus ST models we’ve seen cross the auction block as of late. It joins nice examples such as a 2014 with just 20k miles on the clock, a 2016 with 30k miles, and a 2018 with 8k miles, to name just a few that we’ve come across.
We’ll have more cool auction finds like this to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Focus news and around-the-clock Ford news coverage.
