As has historically been the case, the debut of the sixth-generation Ford Bronco was met with a plethora of aftermarket companies chomping at the bit to churn out parts and accessories for the reborn model. However, select outfits also go a bit further than that, building heavily modified examples of the Ford Bronco for a smaller audience. One of those companies is Apocalypse Manufacturing, which specializes in over-the-top builds such as this.
This, specifically, is a 2022 Ford Bronco Apocalypse Dark Horse 6×6, and it’s also up for grabs over at Cars & Bids right now. It wasn’t long after the Ford Bronco debuted in 2020 for the 2021 model year that folks were dreaming up such a rig – and others announcing plans to build one – but it isn’t often that we see one pop up for auction, regardless. In this case, it’s hard to imagine that a wilder example of the current Ford Bronco exists, which will undoubtedly appeal to those that like to be seen when they drive around town.
That’s because this Kevlar-coated Ford Bronco is chock full of upgrades, including – most notably – its six-wheel conversion with a powered tandem axle, coupled with a wheelbase that’s been stretched from 189 inches to 225 inches. It now sports a functional bed out back to boot, along with a slant-back fiberglass hardtop, a four-inch lift, and bronze 20-inch Fuel Offroad SFJ wheels wrapped with 37-inch Fortune Tormenta M/T tires.
The interior is no less custom, sporting diamond pattern King Ranch-style brown and black marine-grade leather upholstery, along with a custom sound system. It even has a tune, larger fuel injectors, and a custom exhaust to help free up some extra power to account for its extra weight – making this wild Ford Bronco a truly comprehensive build, albeit one that certainly isn’t for everyone.
We’ll have more custom Broncos to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and around-the-clock Ford news coverage.

Because when the SHTF you’ll need “diamond pattern King Ranch-style brown and black marine-grade leather upholstery, along with a custom sound system.” Regardless, I wish it was in my driveway.
You and I both.
Hope they didn’t use the problem prone 10 speed trans, hate to spend another $ 8500.00 when it goes out
