As Ford Authority reported earlier this month, the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor – which is already on sale in select right-hand drive markets including South Africa and New Zealand – was slated to arrive in Australia as well, news that stemmed from the fact that FoMoCo submitted the necessary documents to the Department of Infrastructure in that country required to sell it there. Now, the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor has made its official debut in that part of the world.
The 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor features a unique suspension setup consisting of position-sensitive Bilstein dampers with external reservoirs, and new springs that result in an additional 26mm (one inch) of ground clearance. The off-road-focused pickup rolls on a set of Asphalt Black machine-faced 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires, to boot.
In terms of styling, the 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor can be distinguished from the rest of the lineup via its signature front grille with auxiliary lighting, a steel bash plate, and an extended sports bar in the bed. Inside the cabin, one will find vinyl seats with Tremor logos, plus a variety of drive modes and tech features including Rock Crawl Drive Mode, Trail Control, and Trail Turn Assist. Power comes exclusively from Ford’s twin turbocharged 2.0L diesel churning out 150 kW (201 horsepower) and 500 Nm (369 pound-feet) of torque, mated to the 10-speed automatic transmission.

Currently, the Ford Ranger Tremor is absent from the U.S. lineup, though it was offered in that country in the mid-size pickup’s previous generation. In Australia, the Ranger recently took the pickup sales crown away from the Toyota Hilux, however, and has faced tremendous demand since its launch, though it has also lost some features and gotten more expensive as of late.
We’ll have more on the Ranger Tremor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for ongoing Ford Ranger news and Ford news coverage.
