There’s one new color on the palette for the 2025 Ford Escape, known as Space Silver Metallic. Here’s a first look at the silvery hue.
Space Silver Metallic is identifiable by paint code A3, and is one of six colors available for the crossover. It’s available on all 2025 Ford Escape trims as a no-cost option, and can be outfitted in conjunction with all available interior colorways.
The entire color lineup for the 2025 Ford Escape is as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Star White Metallic Tri-coat (AZ)
- Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4)
- Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
- Agate Black Metallic (UM)
- Oxford White (YZ)
- Space Silver Metallic (A3) (new for 2024)
Meanwhile, the following list outlines all available interior colorways:
- Ebony / Space Gray
- Ebony with Red stitching
Finally, the following are all available trim levels for the 2025 Escape:
- Active
- PHEV
- ST-Line
- ST-Line Select
- Platinum
- ST-Line Elite
The 2025 Ford Escape doesn’t boast many changes compared to its 2024 model year counterpart, although as Ford Authority previously reported, the ST-Line trim doesn’t feature body color painted bumpers or rocker panels. These are reserved exclusively for the ST-Line Elite trim, while the ST-Line Select retains its body color mirrors. The “regular” ST-Line, meanwhile, gets black body cladding instead.
Aside from that, the crossover soldiers on largely unchanged. As a reminder, the Ford Escape underwent a substantial refresh for the 2023 model year, overhauling its trim level lineup and packing the crossover with handy tech features like Sync 4.
Pricing for the 2025 Ford Escape starts at $29,490, including destination freight charges, for the base Active trim, while on the other side of the spectrum, opting for the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) bumps the starting price tag to $39,895. Production is handled at the Louisville Assembly plant in Kentucky.

Ford has gotten so BORING and UNAFFORDABLE under Farley.
Black, White, Silver colors. Big deal.
Agree. I see all kinds of awesome colors from other manufacturers, but Ford sticks with drab non-exciting colors. The few interesting ones they have cost quite a bit extra.
The most boring color palette of any compact CUV. Boring 4 + screaming red. Yuck. How about some blues and greens and a pretty red? It’s almost as if they’re trying NOT to sell any. And prices, yes, are absurd.
Yeah the only real color there is Rapid Red. They should add Velocity Blue. My Maverick is that color and I get compliments on it all the time. Hyundai only had boring colors on the Sante Cruz when I was shopping for a small pickup.
The previous news on the Escape was that the model line was at the end of production.
Now you show a 2025 Escape. Is this another of Farley’s change in directions? – similar to there will be no more small cars.
No, that news had always said that 2025 was the final model year. Bet it gets extended.
Bring back the metallic iconic silver!!
Looks like the same crappy silver I got stuck with on my 2020
Done with Ford after 40 years. They don’t make any small hybrid SUVs except the Escape . My 23 Platinum has such a cheap looking interior, and with the hybrid, the starter battery is always in battery saver mode two weeks after I bought it, so Ford pass does not work at all, car has no interior lighting at night with the battery saver mode . Dealer says battery OK. Going to switch to another brand with better quality, more choices, fantastic exterior colors and a cheaper price . Goodby Ford .
I just traded my 2023 Platinum Escape in for a Honda CRV, because of the warranty issues I was having with infotainment system and CarPlay and Ford has really been non-responsive. I’ve been a Ford customer for more than 25 years. The CRV is loaded and is a great ride -love it!
I noticed in the Bronco Build and Price page that they are now charging hundreds of extra dollars for most paint colors, even those that didn’t cost more last year. @ssholes.
