2025 Ford Maverick Tremor Upgraded To Pickup’s Top Trim

The Ford Maverick lineup gained a new optional upgrade for the 2023 model year in the Tremor Off-Road Package, which applied that name – also present on the Ford Ranger, Ford F-150, and Ford Super Duty – to the compact pickup. However, Ford hasn’t exactly applied the Tremor name to those pickups in the same manner over the years, as the Maverick and Super Duty previously offered those upgrades as an optional package, while in the Ranger and F-150 lineup, Tremor is a full-fledged trim level. However, with the debut of the 2025 Ford Maverick, this has changed in a big way.

In fact, the 2025 Ford Maverick Tremor is now its own trim level as well, leaving the Super Duty as the sole model in The Blue Oval’s lineup to feature its upgrades as part of an optional package. Perhaps more notably, the 2025 Ford Maverick Tremor is also now the top trim in the compact model’s lineup as well – this is because it includes everything featured in the luxurious Lariat, plus some additional equipment, to boot.

On top of all the goodies present in the Lariat trim, the 2025 Ford Maverick Tremor gets black chrome headlamps and taillamps, a unique front bumper with an improved approach angle, front skid plates, body color door handles, Carbonized Gray hood and lower door decals, Tremor fender badges and box decals, black Ford logos, 17-inch machined-face Tarnished Dark Aluminum wheels with orange-painted pockets, 235/65R17 all-terrain tires, and Tremor Orange accents on the fender vents, tow hooks, and front grille.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ford Maverick Tremor features all-weather floor mats, a special off-road screen in the Tremor-specific instrument cluster, Trail Control, and floor console accents. Mechanically speaking, the off-road-focused model gets Ford’s advanced 4WD system with a twin clutch rear drive unit, a heavy-duty transmission cooler, rear drive unit lock, and an off-road tuned suspension with unique springs and shocks. Finally, the 2025 Maverick Tremor also has five selectable drive modes to choose from – Normal, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud & Ruts, and Sand.

  1. So Ford gives us the consumer the middle finger again by placing the Tremor option only in the top of the line Lariat. Someone at Ford needs to wake up and realize that they are alienating large groups of buyers with their unashamed greed.

  2. They also under deliever by reducing the horsepower on 2.0 from 250 to 238 whats up with that. And then go up $2500 on the truck on top of that they do not even improve the Hybrid just CVT no horsepower increase which would have been nice.

  3. Are they starting with the Maverick now? Like they did on the escape, in making someone to pay a higher price, for some kind of option, you could have gotten, with a lower price, but know slaps you on the face and charges more, because you want that option, you use to get for a less priced model? I’ve been a Ford man for many years and liked their option packages, since 1960, but it seems they’re changing and the direction they seem to be going, could have me, to stop being a Ford man and go else where!

  4. I have a ‘ 22 XLT Mav. Thank God o bought begire the ’25 model. What a terrible face design. It hides it’s beauty and intelligent looks. Now it looks cheap and like a Asian design. Ford is a leader, not a follower. Here you lost it, Ford
