2025 Ford Mustang Gains Standard Dual Zone Climate Control

The 2024 Ford Mustang marked the arrival of an entirely new generation for the popular pony car, which is always a big deal in the automotive world. That redesign brought forth a lot of notable changes for the long-running model, as is typically the case, meaning that the 2025 Ford Mustang wasn’t likely to receive too many updates. Thus far, that has mostly proven to be the case, but there are at least a few notable changes taking place that consumers will want to be aware of.

The latest is a welcome addition to the 2025 Ford Mustang lineup – dual-zone automatic climate control is now standard on all models, which wasn’t previously the case. In fact, this feature was previously only included with the 2024 EcoBoost High Package, and was also standard on the EcoBoost Premium, while it was included with GT High Package and also standard on the GT Premium and Dark Horse.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2025 Ford Mustang is also set to lose a couple of features – including wireless charging, which was previously standard on the 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium, GT Premium, and Dark Horse, though it has now completely disappeared from the 2025 Mustang lineup. Additionally, the 2025 Ford Mustang has also dropped the EcoBoost High Performance Package, which was available on the 2024 model.

In terms of exterior colors, the 2025 Ford Mustang is dropping four of them from its lineup as well – Atlas Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Yellow Splash Metallic Tri-Coat, and Dark Matter Gray Metallic. To partially make up for those losses, the 2025 Mustang is adding two new hues, however – Wimbledon White and Molten Magenta Metallic Tri-Coat.

  1. Dual zone not necessary as all the air mixes in a couple of seconds. Should have left the phone charging in and leave out dual zone. Another mistake..

    1. Couldn’t agree with you more. Such a small interior doesn’t need dual zone.
      Ridiculous that it’s even offered
