Josh Berry, Cup Series rookie in control of the No. 4 NASCAR Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), will run a special livery at the Brickyard on July 21st, 2024. The Mustang’s paint scheme features the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBA) star Caitlin Clark smack dab in the center of the hood.
Clark currently plays for the Indiana Fever with the No. 22 emblazoned on her uniform. She began her women’s basketball career playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes during her college days before going on to make multiple deep runs in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. She was the fourth overall pick in the 2024 WNMA draft, signing on with the Indiana Fever. She is the first WNBA rookie to record a triple-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists in a victorious game against the New York Liberty in July.
When Berry carries Clark’s image on the No. 4 NASCAR Ford, it will be his first time behind the wheel of a Cup Series car on the Indy Oval. The division has raced on the Indy Road Course since 2020 and makes its return to the traditional configuration this weekend.

The 2024 Cup Series season is Berry’s first and only behind the wheel of the No. 4 Mustang. His team, SHR, announced that it will cease operations upon conclusion of the 2024 season. Berry will stay in The Blue Oval camp next year, though. He signed on with Wood Brothers Racing, the oldest operating team in NASCAR, to drive the No. 21 Mustang beginning in 2025.
So far in his first full Cup Series season, Berry has two top fives and four top 10 finishes under his belt. His two best results were earned at Darlington Raceway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where he finished third both times.

Class act by Panini. They will get a much more positive return with the move.
