Ford Argentina Sales Jump 16 Percent In June 2024

Ford Argentina sales increased 16 percent to 2,885 units in June 2024. The figures placed Ford as the fourth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Volkswagen and Fiat.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco sales totaled 2 units
Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 240.54 percent to 126 units
Ford EcoSport sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
Ford F-Series sales decreased 96 percent to 3 units
Ford Kuga sales totaled 13 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 88.76 percent to 487 units
Ford Mustang sales decreased 86.36 percent to 3 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 29.09 percent to 1,753 units
Ford Territory sales decreased 19.7 percent to 379 units
Ford Transit sales decreased 50 percent to 115 units

During the first six months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales decreased 16 percent to 15,569 units.

The Ford Authority Take

In sharp contrast to the negative performance in each of the previous five months of the calendar year, Ford Argentina sales increased healthily in June. The Blue Oval brand ended its bad streak and registered its first increase in 2024, adding almost 400 units compared to the same month last year.

Ford Argentina’s June performance was supported by significant double- and triple-digit sales increases in three key models, including the best-selling Ford Ranger. The domestically manufactured midsize pickup was once again the main driver of success and is the brand’s best-selling model in the Argentine market.

The Bronco Sport and Maverick also posted even higher growth rates. The Bronco Sport had the highest percentage growth, but the dramatic increase in the Ford Maverick was the biggest change, making the compact pickup the second best-selling model for the brand in the month in Argentina – surpassing the Territory.
