Ford Brazil Sales Jump 95 Percent In June 2024

Ford Brazil sales increased 95 percent to 4,169 units in June 2024 when compared to the same period last year.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales totaled 157 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 0 units
Ford F-Series sales decreased 75.14 percent to 43 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 91.12 percent to 323 units
Ford Mustang sales decreased 32.35 percent to 23 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 112.35 percent to 3,026 units
Ford Territory sales increased 177.88 percent to 289 units
Ford Transit sales increased 161.4 percent to 298 units

During the first six months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales increased 61 percent to 19,601 units.

The Ford Authority Take

The Ford Brazil sales momentum continued with force in June, when the Blue Oval brand almost doubled the sales volume of the previous year and achieved one of the highest FoMoCo Brazil records in its recent history. Last month’s strong increase represents Ford’s third consecutive monthly increase in the Brazilian market.

Ford Brazil’s excellent performance in June was led primarily by the strong triple-digit increase of the Ford Ranger, which surpassed the 3,000-unit sales barrier, and the Chevrolet S10 to take second place among the country’s best-selling midsize pickups. In fact, it is the nameplate’s best record in the Brazilian market – at least in recent history.

In June, the Ford Maverick also posted a significant increase in sales in Brazil. The midsize pickup nearly doubled its deliveries year-over-year and was positioned as the brand’s second best-selling model in the country. Meanwhile, the Ford Territory had the highest triple-digit growth rate in the month and maintains a notable lead in second place in the cumulative total for the first half of the year.
