Since its debut for the 2021 model year, the Ford Bronco has mostly been in high demand – at least, until the past few months, when sales have cooled. At the same time, Ford Bronco production at the Michigan Assembly plant has experienced its fair share of ups and downs, which is pretty common in the automotive world, especially in recent years, with supply chain constraints impacting it in a big way. That uneven trend continued in the month of June as well, further proving this point.
According to FoMoCo’s June sales report, Ford Bronco production at MAP closed out the month at 11,518 units, which is a slight decrease of 299 units, or around 2.5 percent compared to May’s total of 11,817 units – all while Bronco sales decreased by 4.32 percent to 8,091 units in the same time period.
May’s production number was 422 units or nearly four percent higher than April’s total of 11,395 units as well, but still trailed January’s output of 12,143 units, as well as February’s 12,659 units, but it’s still the third highest monthly total of the calendar year so far. It’s also a big jump from March, when things bottomed out at 9,833 units, which could very well be attributed to declining sales and increasing inventory, as well as a sharp ramp up in Ford Ranger production.
As Ford Authority previously reported, production of the redesigned Ford Ranger decreased by 329 units or nearly five percent month-over-month in June, from 7,026 in May to 6,697. However, that figure was the lowest since March, when 6,707 Ford Ranger pickups surfaced from MAP, following totals of 7,590 in April and 7,026 in May. The 2024 calendar year started off rather slow for the pickup, as Ford churned out just 2,644 units in January and 2,871 in March, however.
We’ll have more production numbers to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and continuous Ford news coverage.

Gee I wonder why, people want to be able to pick the options we want, grill, wheels, tires, bumpers, gear ratios with options for locking Front and Rear on all, monotone paint or possible two tone with other color tops, i could see black, white, silver, carbonized gray tops. All interior options should be standard, minus Ford 360 and B&O sound. 2 trims only, Freestyle and we pick what we want or Rapter that’s it. If people can’t pick what they want the Bronco is not for them.
You can pick what you want. Its the MOST configurable 4×4 available. Period. Supply chain constraints can be an issue at times but these vehicles WORTH the wait & wait times aren’t long now. 💯
Can i order a Big Bend with the V6, 3.73 front and rear locking diffs, capable bumper, badlands wheels, Black Diamond tires, Heritage white top, Outerbanks monotone paint for mirrors, handles, and fender flares. mid pkg minus the ford 360, but get the heated steering wheel and front facing camera? THATS A BIG NO! All in a 2dr. Oh wait let me throw another curveball, i want the Peak Blue color. See it’s not customizable from the factory. We are stuck with bs trims.
I just want a Yellowstone or Race Red Bronco with the painted white top. Hopefully MY25 order books will open up soon. Del
