Ford EV Referral Program Extended Through Early Fall

Following a period of time when early adopters were scooping up all-electric vehicles at rapid rates – and oftentimes paying well over sticker price to do so – demand has cooled considerably as of late. That means that models like the Ford F-150 Lightning and Ford Mustang Mach-E are far easier to find these days, and both have been the recipients of many incentives over the past few months, too. Now, a recently launched referral program is getting extended as well, giving shoppers yet another discount to take advantage of.

According to CarsDirect, the Ford Model E Customer Referral Program Private Offer – which was introduced this past March – has been extended until September 30th, 2024, though it just expired on the first of July. The private offer gives Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E owners an additional $500 off their purchase, though it’s limited to those who lease or purchase one of those models in California, Michigan, Florida, Virginia, Washington, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Those that qualify for the Model E Customer Referral Program Private Offer can also stack it with other current deals, including a conquest deal aimed at Tesla customers that consists of $1,500 in bonus cash that launched back in April. On top of that, both models have received quite a few incentives as of late, making them more affordable than ever to lease or finance.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the Mach-E was recently treated to a larger national lease discount of $9,000, in fact, and it’s also eligible for zero percent financing for up to 60 months. The Ford F-150 Lightning has also been available with zero percent financing for some time, and it can even be leased for essentially the same monthly cost as a Ford Maverick right now, too.
