Over the past several months, the Ford Mustang Mach-E has been treated to a dizzying array of incentives – many of them aimed at customers who want to lease the EV crossover – which has made it far less expensive to own. Regardless, Ford continues to roll out new Mach-E incentives that – in some cases – make it cheaper to lease than other, ICE vehicles in The Blue Oval lineup, and in some cases, models that have higher sticker prices, too. Now, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is cheaper to lease than some Japanese hybrids as well, it seems.
According to CarsDirect, the most recent 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E deal makes the EV crossover cheaper to lease than vehicles like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, in fact. As Ford Authority previously reported, the national lease discount on the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E has increased from $7,500 to $9,000, but it can also be combined with a Summer Sales Event bonus of $600 – making the EV crossover eligible for $9,600 in total lease discounts at the moment.
That means one can lease a brand new Ford Mustang Mach-E for as little as $319 per month for 36 months with $4,649 due at signing for a 10,500-mile term – a $448 effective monthly cost, which is quite attractive for a vehicle with a $41,890 MSRP. Meanwhile, leasing a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport will set one back $379 per month over 36 months with $4,499 due at signing for an effective monthly cost of $487 on a $37,200 MSRP, while the 2024 Toyota RAV4 LE Hybrid can be leased for $399 a month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing, or a $482 effectively monthly cost with a $34,458 MSRP.
The Mach-E already matched Ford Maverick leases in terms of monthly cost and is cheaper than its ICE counterpart, and can also be financed for as little as zero percent across 60 months, too. In total, Mach-E incentives reached a grand total of $11,000 in June, making the EV crossover a pretty solid target for value shoppers.
