The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the Indy Oval for the first time since 2020 on July 21st, 2024, and though it’s been some time since they have turned laps on the famous Brickyard circle track, the NASCAR Ford drivers have decent odds for sports betting enthusiasts.
Up top, unsurprisingly, Ryan Blaney is the safest bet in the NASCAR Ford stable, favored at 15-2 odds to win at Indy in the No. 12 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, along with Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Mustang. Joey Logano’s No. 22 Mustang isn’t a bad bet, either, with 14-1 odds of winning this weekend. Chris Buescher is also a safe bet at 15-1 odds to win in the No. 17 Mustang.
The next-best NASCAR Ford driver is a bit of a longer shot, favored at 45-1 odds: Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang. Austin Cindric’s No. 2 Mustang is also a bit of a risk, favored at 50-1 odds, and Noah Gragson’s No. 10 Mustang is rated at 100-1, as is Michael McDowell, driver of the No. 34 Mustang. Todd Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Mustang, and Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Mustang, are both rated at 150-1 odds. Justin Haley, who drives the No. 51 Mustang, is a longer shot at 250-1.
Ryan Preece, driver of the No. 41 Mustang, slots in near the bottom with 400-1 odds, followed by Harrison Burton, driver of the No. 21 Mustang, with 500-1 odds. Finally, the longest shot in the field is Cody Ware, who drives the No. 15 Mustang, at 1,000-1 odds to win the Brickyard.
Things could go either way for The Blue Oval at Indy this weekend. Hopes aren’t high for the NASCAR Ford drivers, according to the latest Power Rankings, but they’ve seemed to have turned their season around after a slow start. Keep an eye out for Blaney especially on the asphalt as they return to Indy on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
