NASCAR Ford Drivers Plummet In 2024 Cup Series Betting Odds

Hot off the win in 2023, the NASCAR Ford teams started out strong in terms of betting odds for the 2024 Cup Series championship, but fell off later in the season when The Blue Oval failed to perform as some had hoped and expected. For those interested in sports betting, putting it all on a Ford Mustang Dark Horse race car might be a risky bet, as the Ford drivers’ odds have shifted once again.

As per the latest betting odds released on NASCAR.com, some Ford teams are still well-positioned, while others are even more of a longshot than they were at the start of the 2024 season. Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 Mustang, is still the safest bet in Ford’s stable, with current odds of 10-1, followed by No. 22 Mustang driver Joey Logano with 12-1 odds. No. 6 Mustang Brad Keselowski, meanwhile, is sitting at 20-1 odds, making him a decent option on the sports betting scene, as is Chris Buescher, driver of the No. 17 Mustang, favored at 25-1 odds.

No. 2 NASCAR Ford driver Austin Cindric is sitting pretty as well, as his odds have actually improved to 100-1, along with No. 34 Mustang driver Michael McDowell, who went from 300-1 to 150-1. However, Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang, is another story. He was favored at 65-1 at the start of the season, but now clocks in at 150-1. Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Mustang, also took a hit, dropping to 150-1 as well.

Meanwhile, things aren’t looking so good for Ryan Preece, who drives the No. 41 Mustang in the Cup Series. Starting out, he was favored at 200-1 odds, but is now at 800-1. Todd Gilliland, the man behind the wheel of the No. 38 Mustang, remains a longshot at 1,000-1, the same as Justin Haley, driver of the No. 15 Mustang. Harrison Burton is also a longshot with current odds of winning the 2024 championship in the No. 21 Mustang sitting at 1,000-1. And, furthermore, the No. 10 Mustang racer, Noah Gragson, isn’t even listed.

The 2024 Cup Series campaign won’t wrap up until the teams visit Phoenix on November 10th, and there’s still a lot of racing to go for the NASCAR Ford teams this year.
