NASCAR Ford Teams Slide In Updated 2024 Championship Odds

As far as odds to win the Cup Series championship for the second season in a row, the NASCAR Ford teams started out strong in before they fell off later in the season and again earlier this month. Now that the odds have been updated, it’s still not looking good for the Ford Mustang Dark Horse racers.

As per the latest betting odds on NASCAR.com, the longest shot in the field is Noah Gragson, who currently drives the No. 10 Mustang. In fact, he’s not even listed. Harrison Burton’s No. 21 Mustang has odds of 1,000-1 to take it all, along with Justin Haley, who drives the No. 51 Mustang and Todd Gilliland of the No. 38 Mustang. Ryan Preece might also be a risky bet, with odds of 800-1 to win the 2024 championship in the No. 41 Mustang.

Michael McDowell, driver of the No. 34 NASCAR Ford, is a much safer bet to win at 150-1 odds, and Chase Briscoe’s No. 14 Mustang holds steady at 100-1, along with Josh Berry of the No. 4 Mustang. Austin Cindric could take the trophy in the No. 2 Mustang with 80-1 odds, while Chris Buescher’s No. 17 Mustang is currently favored at 25-1 to win the championship. Brad Keselowski’s No. 6 Mustang has also been gaining ground, favored at 20-1. Don’t count Joey Logano out, either. The odds of the No. 22 NASCAR Ford taking the trophy are currently 14-1.

Once again, Ryan Blaney tops the list, so for sports betting enthusiasts and NASCAR fans, he’s the safest bet in The Blue Oval’s stable. He’s currently, favored at 8-1 odds to win back-to-back Cup Series championships and could very well put the No. 12 Mustang back in Victory Lane come Phoenix this fall.

Meanwhile, Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevy Camaro ZL1, has 4-1 odds to take it all in November, the best in the field.
