NASCAR Ford Trucks Lag At Nashville 2024: Video

The NASCAR Ford Truck Series teams weren’t a factor at Nashville Superspeedway on June 28^th, 2024, with the best Blue Oval competitor crossing the line seventh on Friday night.

That truck was the No. 99 Ford F-150 of Ben Rhodes, who started 26^th and muscled his way to a seventh-place finish at the end of the night. Rhodes’ rally toward the front was nothing short of impressive, however, considering that he picked up 19 positions throughout the race.

Ty Majeski, driver of the No. 98 F-150 race truck, finished ninth, while the only other NASCAR Ford to finish inside the top 10 was Jake Garcia, who piloted the No. 13 F-150 to a 10^th-place result.

Unfortunately, that means that Ford is still winless in the Truck Series division so far in 2024, although The Blue Oval managed to win the championship last year despite most wins going to Chevy Silverado RST and Toyota TRD Tundra competitors. Currently, Majeski is ranked fourth in the series points standings, 92 points behind the division leader, Chevy driver Christian Eckes.

And speaking of Eckes, his No. 19 Silverado led flag-to-flag to win on Friday night.
