Roush 2024 Ford Mustang Supercharger Officially Debuts

As has historically been the case, the debut of the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang was quickly followed by the release of a large number of new parts and accessories for the S650 generation pony car. Long one of the most popular models to customize, the newest Mustang carries on that tradition of giving owners countless options when it comes to altering the looks and performance of their rides, with Roush Performance continuing to add to that list.

2024 Ford Mustang Roush Supercharger Kit - Engine Bay 001

The latest addition to the Roush Performance catalog for the 2024 Ford Mustang – which already includes goods such as axle-back exhaust systems – is a new supercharger kit for the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, adding yet another option to a growing list of them. This new Roush 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit is currently offered as a Phase 2, limited-production “Launch Edition,” with a price tag of $9,995, and it’s compatible with both the GT and Dark Horse.

This new Roush supercharger kit for the 2024 Ford Mustang consists of a TVS R2650 supercharger, dual cone fuel injectors, custom billet fuel rails, a large heat exchanger, a tune pre-loaded using Roush Diagnostic Tool (RDT) Software, and various other bits and pieces required for installation. It generates a peak of 13 psi at 7,500 rpm, which Roush says is good for a whopping 810 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, all while using the stock throttle bodies and other induction components.

The new Roush 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit isn’t yet 50-state CARB EO legal, notably, which could impact customers in certain parts of the U.S. Regardless, the special, limited-edition Roush Red unit looks like a relatively easy way to add copious amounts of power to the newest pony car, at least for now – as Roush also announced that additional Phase 1 and Phase 2 supercharger kits will be revealed later this year, too.
