RTR Partners With Fox For Specialty Ford Vehicles

RTR Vehicles has long enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Ford, which isn’t terribly surprising given the fact that the aftermarket company was founded by Ford Performance driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. back in 2009. Since then, RTR has created and sold a host of parts and accessories for an array of Blue Oval models, as well as turnkey, modified vehicles that are “ready to rock” – which is precisely what RTR stands for. Thus, perhaps it’s no surprise that RTR is now partnering with another company Ford is quite familiar with – Fox Factory Holding Corp.

RTR and Fox have entered into a strategic partnership agreement that will combine the expertise of both companies in a variety of ways. This includes, it seems, the creation of pre-titled, pre-built vehicles sold by RTR, rather than the just the vehicle packages that it currently offers which are installed at Ford dealerships. Currently, Fox supplies Ford with a host of products, chiefly among them, suspension components used on its off-road-focused Raptor line of models. As for RTR, it offers modified, turnkey versions of the Ford Mustang, a line of parts for other models including the Ford Bronco, and it even teamed up with Ford to help develop the 2024 Mustang’s Electronic Drift Brake.

“I’m extremely excited about this strategic partnership with Fox,” Gittin Jr. said. “Our collective goals and vision for the future are very aligned. The infrastructure and proven track record Fox has with scaling manufacturing, distribution, and strategic dealer placement throughout the country for its highly sought-after product offerings make this one of those dream opportunities that support RTR and Fox’s trajectory. This partnership will enable us to deliver more performance and technical enhancements to our vehicles while expanding our product offerings for Ford enthusiasts. We have been winning in off-road racing with Fox shocks for years, and now to have the opportunity to execute a winning strategic partnership with Fox Factory is nothing short of amazing!”

“We are focused on continuing to create vehicles that deliver performance and personalization on- and off-road and we are working to lead the way,” said Chief Executive Officer of Fox Factory, Mike Dennison. “Our partnership with RTR Vehicles demonstrates our ability to deliver performance solutions to more customers, expand across markets, and deepen our product portfolio. Our combined commitment to performance and delivering top-notch customer experience sets a new standard.”
