Offered across more than one generation of the iconic pony car, the movie-famous Ford Mustang Bullitt remains a coveted collectible in today’s world, even though such a machine hasn’t been sold for a few years now. That includes the Ford Mustang Bullitt of the S197 generation, which is a great-looking machine that keeps popping up for sale on a regular basis – typically, with scant few miles on the odometer. Now, that continues to be the case, as this very nice 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt has also hit the auction block.
This 2008 Mustang Bullitt that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer has just 46k miles showing on the odometer, and it has lived under three owners since it was sold new. It’s one of 5,772 built in this particular model year and features all of the signature styling cues that make a Mustang Bullitt a Mustang Bullitt – such as Dark Highland Green Metallic paint, a black mesh front grille, a faux fuel filler cap, unique wheels, and dual polished exhaust outlets, though there are some paint chips present on the exterior.
Inside the cabin, one will find Dark Charcoal leather seats with some wear up front, along with features such as the Shaker 1000 Audio System with an in-dash six-disc CD stereo, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, cruise control, and air conditioning. Power comes from the automaker’s naturally-aspirated 4.6L V8, in this guise factory-rated to produce 315 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
This is, as one might imagine, not the first nice, lower-mile S197-generation Ford Mustang Bullitt we’ve seen hit the auction block as of late. That list also includes a 2008 model with a mere 4k miles, as well as a 2009 model with 7k miles, too.
