Discontinued some time ago, the high-performance Ford Focus RS remains a hot target on the used vehicle market, and more recently, the collector car space as well. In that regard, we’ve seen some nice Ford Focus RS models hit the auction block over the past few months, many of them commanding a premium in the process. That’s certainly likely to be true with this stellar 2016 Ford Focus RS as well, given how few miles it has on the odometer.
This 2016 Ford Focus RS is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer with just 499 miles, in fact, a stunningly low figure for any vehicle of this vintage – let alone a special one such as this. It has also lived its entire life under one owner after they purchased it new from Ray Varner Ford in Clinton, Tennessee, sporting perfect Nitrous Blue Metallic Quad-Coat paint. In fact, the seller notes that the car has never even been driven in the rain.
Thus, the interior remains in like-new condition as well, with Charcoal Black leather and microsuede-covered Recaro seats with RS embroidery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and amenities including a Sony CD stereo, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and the SYNC 3 infotainment system. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
This 2016 Ford Focus ST is easily one of the nicest – and certainly one of the lowest-mile examples we’ve seen recently, but it isn’t alone, regardless. That list also includes another 2016 Focus ST with just over 1,000 miles, a 2014 model with 20k miles, a 2016 with 30k miles, and a 2017 with 5,500 miles, to name just a few.
