The Ford F-150 launched in Brazil back in April 2023 amid a major lineup revamp in that South American country, and it didn’t take long for the popular pickup to find footing in that market, either. In fact, the first batch of 500 pickups to reach Brazil sold in out “record time,” according to the automaker, with all of them being spoken for in less than an hour. Now, following the debut of the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 back in September 2023, that same model has become available in Brazil as well.
The Blue Oval has announced that pre-orders are now open for the 2024 Ford F-150 in Brazil, with deliveries expected to begin in October and November. However, customers in that country are limited to just two configurations – the Lariat and Lariat Black trims, both of which equipped with the naturally-aspirated 5.0L V8 Coyote engine and the FX4 Off-Road Package as standard.
In terms of styling, the Lariat features traditional chrome trim on the outside, while the Lariat Black replaces those pieces with black trim, as the name implies. However, both are being sold for the same price – R$519,990 ($94,581 USD), which is the same as the outgoing Platinum model previously sold in Brazil. Customers can choose from six exterior color options – Zadar Red, Tower Grey, Avalanche Grey, Vesuvius Black, Nur White, and Monaco Blue – as well as a variety of accessories, to boot.
The launch of the 2024 Ford F-150 in Brazil coincides with the timeline FoMoCo recently provided, which indicated that the refreshed pickup would arrive there in the second half of the year. It also continues Ford’s mission to make the F-150 a truly global product, as the pickup is sold in a variety of markets including the U.S., China, Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, and South America.
