2025 Acura RDX Debuts As Updated Lincoln Nautilus Rival

The luxury crossover space is a heated one full of options, and in that segment, the redesigned 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has thus far earned rave reviews for both its style and technology. Back in April, Honda’s luxurious division Acura revealed the refreshed 2025 MDX, which competes directly with the larger Lincoln Aviator, and now, it has followed that up with a refreshed Nautilus rival – the 2025 Acura RDX.

The 2025 Acura RDX certainly doesn’t represent a comprehensive redesign like the 2024 Nautilus, but it has received a few updates aimed at keeping it competitive in this hotly contested segment. Those start up front, where one will find a revised front fascia with a “frameless” grille along with a new mesh pattern. There’s also a new standard Berlina Black 19-inch wheel design, while Advance trims get body-color lower trim, and Acura has added three new exterior color options – Solar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic, and Urban Gray Pearl.

Not much has changed inside the cabin of the 2025 Acura RDX either, as it gets little more than a reworked center console with bigger cupholders, an easier-to-access wireless charging pad, and a new widescreen mode for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the 10.2-inch infotainment screen. Models equipped with the Advance Package and the A-Spec with Advance Package now feature full-leather upholstery, too.

In terms of powertrains, the 2025 Acura RDX soldiers on with the same turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine generating the same 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. Acura hasn’t yet revealed pricing or availability info for the 2025 RDX, though we should know more when we get a bit closer to the model’s launch.
