2025 Ford Bronco Sport Adds New Ruby Red Color: First Look

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport gains two new exterior colors, including Velocity Blue Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat. Here’s a first look at the latter, Ruby Red Metallic.

Assigned paint code RR, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat is offered on all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trims for $495. It’s available in conjunction with all interior colorways and optional packages and is one of eight exterior color offerings for the rugged off-road crossover. All eight colors are as follows (relevant paint codes in parentheses):

  • Eruption Green Metallic (FA)
  • Shadow Black (G1)
  • Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (G4)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
  • Desert Sand (VA)
  • Oxford White (YZ)
  • Velocity Blue Metallic (E7) (new for 2025)
  • Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (RR) (new for 2025)

The following represents all available interior colorways:

  • Medium Light Smoked Truffle
  • Ebony
  • Platinum Blue
  • Ebony / Roast
  • Dark Space Gray
  • Navy Pier / Plaid
  • Ebony / Ombre Stitching with Sunset Weave

Finally, the following list comprises all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trim levels:

  • Big Bend
  • Outer Banks
  • Badlands
  • Heritage
  • Free Wheeling

Fresh options on their way to the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport include the optional Sasquatch Package. This package is offered on Outer Banks and Badlands models, bundling things like a twin-clutch rear-drive unit and locking rear differential, along with meaty 29-inch 235/65R-17 Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires. It also includes the new Rally GOAT mode, which helps the crossover hold gears for a longer period of time for increased power and a sharper throttle response. Models kitted out with the Sasquatch Package also get an increased ride height over “regular” Badlands models. The Off-Road GOAT Mode, meanwhile, has been added across the Bronco Sport lineup, along with Trail One-Pedal Drive.

Inside, the 2025 Bronco Sport gets a 13.2-inch center infotainment touchscreen with Sync 4 capabilities, paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. Outside, it sports “Bronco Bolts” just like its big brother, the Ford Bronco, along with updated front bumpers complete with modular points ready for accessories. Unsurprisingly, all those upgrades come at a cost – the incoming model is a bit more expensive than its 2024 counterpart, starting at $29,995, not including destination and freight charges.

  • Ruby Red was a favorite color for us. We had it on our Escape. It's great to see it come back and show up on the Bronco.

    • We had a Ruby Red MKC and MKX. Standout color with tinted clearcoat. Glad it’s back for Ford. Would welcome it back at Lincoln in lieu of the much too dark reds they’ve favored recently.

  • Ruby Red is nicer than Rapid Red. My 2019 F150 is Ruby Red. They need to bring back Flame Blue. It is nicer than Velocity Blue which has also gone from the F150's. The current Atlas Blue is a no thank you for me. Two other colours they need top bring back are Reef Blue and Pacific Green.

  • Nice, like the Ruby Red. Hey Ford ! How about you offer a front wheel drive only variant, I need the room but don't need all wheel drive, as do most Florida drivers. That should make a retail price point around $26K for the base model.

  • I like the Ruby Red. I have a 2017 Shelby GT350 in that color. Glad to see Ford offering that color option for 2025.

  • Ford has been hit with too many recalls. Not good to buy a brand-new Ford. Wait at least 3 years on any model 1st to let things shake out.
