The Ford Everest – an SUV based on the Ford Ranger – has long been a popular entity in places like Australia where it’s sold, with the newest generation model proving to be more desirable in that part of the world than before. The Everest is an off-road capable model right out of the box, adding to its appeal, though FoMoCo previously ruled out creating a more hardcore Raptor version. Regardless, those that want a more off-road capable SUV in Australia can now get one in the form of the just-revealed 2025 Ford Everest Tremor.
Just a few weeks after the new Ranger Tremor was revealed for Australia, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor has debuted with many of the same upgrades, as one might expect. Those start up front with the signature Tremor grille with factory-fitted auxiliary LED lighting, tow hooks, and a steel bash plate. The Tremor also gets unique 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires, which are framed by Asphalt Black wheel arch moldings.
Inside the cabin, one will find Ebony leather-wrapped seats embossed with the Tremor logo, as well as all-weather floor mats. One will also find that Rock Crawl has been added to the list of drive modes, and the suspension has been upgrade in a number of ways, too. In this case, Ford has added position-sensitive Bilstein dampers, and a lift kit, in fact. Power comes from the turbocharged 3.0L V6 diesel engine, which is rated to produce 184 kW (247 horsepower) and 600 Nm (443 pound-feet) of torque, which flows to all four wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission – giving the Everest Tremor 3,500 kilograms (7,716 pounds) of max towing capacity.
Those that want a few more off-road goodies for their 2025 Ford Everest Tremor can get it via the optional Rough Terrain Pack, which adds extra underbody protection in the form of ARB’s Under Vehicle Armor, plus an ARB Stealth Bar and an auxiliary switch bank. Pricing for the new Everest Tremor starts out at $83,839 AUD ($56,370 USD), and it’s available to order now.

Would love to see an Everest available in the USA.
That’s way more appealing than our dogcrap Escape. But $56k? Really?? Did I miss some big tax cut or government stimi checks? Who can afford this stuff?
Car prices in Australia are out of control, see we import 100% of cars so BS taxes play a big part, the tremor starts at $83,300 AUD drive away which is $56,580 USD $63,500 USD for a burger with the lot as we say.
I think the Everest is like the 4Runner whereas the Explorer is like the Highlander (frame vs unibody and more aggressive suspension). I prefer the 4Runner to the Highlander, but people who like better comfort on pavement may prefer the Highlander.
Ford once again misses the US market for no real valid reason.
