2025 Ford Expedition Interior Spotted Uncovered For First Time

While the refreshed 2025 Lincoln Navigator debuted nearly two weeks ago, we’re still waiting for the official unveiling of its mainstream counterpart, the 2025 Ford Expedition. However, Ford Authority has spotted a number of 2025 Ford Expedition prototypes out testing over the past several months, revealing many of its exterior and interior styling updates, among possible tech upgrades as well. Now, Ford Authority has spotted the interior of the refreshed 2025 Ford Expedition, completely uncovered, for the first time.

While the refreshed Navigator was treated to a massive 48-inch panoramic display spanning the entire width of the dash, coupled with an 11.1-inch center touchscreen, this 2025 Ford Expedition prototype is equipped with something a bit smaller – though the upper screen is still elevated atop the dash in a similar fashion, and this is the first time we’re seeing it. It looks like this screen will take the place of the instrument cluster, as that piece is much smaller than before, but it may also be used for navigation purposes.

Beneath that upper screen is what appears to be the same 13.2-inch center touchscreen present in newer models like the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer, and it seems to be running the new Ford Digital Experience software, too. Below that, we can see the drive mode dial, which is located in the same general area as the cup holders. Finally, we get a good look at the new steering wheel design present in the 2025 Ford Expedition, which looks to be configurable, just like the one in the Navigator.

Other than this rather notable interior revamp, the 2025 Ford Expedition is set to receive a host of exterior styling updates as well. Those changes include quite a bit of influence from the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 and 2025 Ford Explorer, with a new front end design, LED lighting, new bronze wheels for the luxurious King Ranch, a relocated rear wiper, and potentially a new split rear liftgate, just like the Navigator. Additionally, as Ford Authority reported earlier today, the off-road-focused Expedition Timberline could be replaced by a new Tremor model, too.

We’ll have more on the 2025 Ford Expedition soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Expedition news and around-the-clock Ford news coverage.

We’ve seen the Navigator. Why all the drama over the Expedition? It’s a refresh!

I feel like the last few launches have been at the texas state fair, so might not be until later in September till we see it.

Looks like they are reusing the Mach e instrument cluster, and it looks way too small for how big this vehicle is.

Looks as if both screens are center stacked, which seems a bit odd. Moving the drivers eyes away from the normal location for things.

After seeing the 2025 Navigator, this looks to be an afterthought on an upgrade.

They should have just kept the tablet screen and digital instrument cluster that they have in the current Expedition.

Rookie mistake…never put the gear knob next to the volume knob.

This interior looks boring and classless. Does Ford listen to what people want in a vehicle? There are no buttons, a bland looking screen, lots of empty space. What are they doing….

Looks like crap. Ford should benchmark Jeep or Ram for tread interiors.
