The Blue Oval recently pulled the veil off the refreshed 2025 Ford Maverick, showing off its updated face and a host of new tech and features packed into the incredibly popular compact pickup. As part of the myriad of updates, the Maverick’s exterior color lineup was overhauled. In fact, it lost four colors that were previously offered for the 2024 model year.
The following exterior colors, previously available on 2024 Maverick XL, XLT and Lariat trims, are no longer available on the 2025 Ford Maverick (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

Meanwhile, the following colors are carryovers from the 2024 model year:
Finally, the 2025 Ford Maverick gains four new colors, which are as follows:
Highlights from the refreshed 2025 Maverick include a brand new front fascia, which features a unique design for each trim level, including XL, XLT, Lariat, Lobo, and Tremor. The new front end features darkened LED headlamps set in a revised front fascia and grille. Meanwhile, higher-tiered trims get LED projector headlamps and signature lighting.
Inside, the 2025 Ford Maverick gets the automaker’s Sync 4 13.2-inch infotainment screen as standard, paired with the eight-inch digital instrument cluster. The 2025 Ford Maverick also features the 360-Degree Camera, along with Pro Trailer Hitch Assist as an optional extra. It’s worth noting that this feature, along with Pro Trailer Backup Assist, are standard on the Lariat and Tremor.
Under the hood, the 2025 Ford Maverick offers a hybrid powertrain or the turbocharged 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine. It’s worth noting that the hybridized engine is once against standard. As Ford Authority previously reported, the Maverick Hybrid can now be paired with all-wheel drive in XL, XLT, and Lariat models, a first for these three trims.
The 2025 Ford Maverick starts at $26,295, not including $1,595 for destination and delivery.

Why the hell does Ford keep doing this? I ordered a 2023 Maverick in Area 51, but my truck didn't make the cut for 2023. They discontinued Area 51 (their most popular color)for 2024 so i decided on cactus gray. Now that's discontinued. Who TF makes these decisions and why?
I have Area 51 on my 22 hybrid Maverick XLT and constantly get comments on the color. My second choice of colors was Cactus Gray which still shows on the 2025 Maverick order site. I am glad I got my Maverick and would not be interested in a 2025 especially the front with the color panels under the headlights. The even Ford dealer offered me more than what I paid for my Maverick but I like it better than the 2025s which cost more and they cut things off like the key pad.
Are you really waiting a year a half or whatever for your truck?
i tried to order my 2023 in volicity blue which was on the 22 maverick had to change it to area 51 when the made it a 24 had to change it to gray so i understand ford has to get their stuff togather the new slogan over promise and under deliever and raise the price do not care about end buyer
What happened to the Terrain color??
Do you mean Desert Sand (VA) ?
Same as Desert Sand, which is the name used on the Bronco Sports. 1-year name only on the Mavericks apparently.
I have one of the Terrain 2024 Maverick Tremors.
I would consider getting the maverick if and only if ford dealers would stop the price gouging
MAVERICK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ECONOMY SMALL TRUCK,BUT HAS GRADUALLY TURNED INTO A "RHINESTONE COWBOY," ALL GLITZ & PRICED OUT OF MANY'S RANGE. WE ORDERED A '22, WERE BUMPED TWICE, SO ENDED UP WITH A '24 OVER $10K WHAT ORIGINALLY WAS QUOTED US. WAITING MONTHS FOR DEALERSHIP TO FIND TIME TO.DO THE RECALLS, SO IT SITS IN THE GARAGE, UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED, LIKE A CHEVY CORVAIR. THANKS FOR NADA.
