The 2025 Ford Maverick features quite a few changes and updates, including an overhauled exterior color lineup. In fact, it gains four new colors, known as Eruption Green, Space White Metallic, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Velocity Blue. Here’s a first look at Velocity Blue, which was previously available for the Maverick, but not for the 2024 model year.
Velocity Blue is tagged with paint code E7, and is one of nine exterior colors offered on the 2025 Ford Maverick. It’s available on all trims, including XL, XLT, Lobo, Lariat, and Tremor. It’s able to be outfitted in conjunction with all interior colorways as well, and is a zero-cost color.
The entire color lineup for the 2025 Ford Maverick is as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (G4)
- Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
- Oxford White (YZ)
- Shadow Black (G1)
- Desert Sand (VA)
- Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (RR) (New for 2025)
- Space White Metallic (A3) (New for 2025)
- Velocity Blue (E7) (New for 2025)
- Eruption Green (FA) (New for 2025)
Meanwhile, the following represents all interior colorways:
- Black Onyx
- Navy Pier / Aspen Gray
- Black Onyx
- Smoked Truffle
Finally, the following list entails all 2025 Ford Maverick trim levels:
- XL
- XLT
- Lobo
- Lariat
- Tremor
Major changes on the way to the 2025 Ford Maverick are headlined by its updated front fascia, which now features a unique design for each trim level, including XL, XLT, Lariat, and Tremor.
Inside, the 2025 Ford Maverick now features The Blue Oval’s 13.2-inch infotainment screen as standard, replacing the previous model’s eight-inch infotainment screen paired with the eight-inch digital instrument cluster. The 2025 Ford Maverick also boasts the 360-Degree Camera, along with Pro Trailer Hitch Assist as an optional extra. It’s worth noting that this feature, along with Pro Trailer Backup Assist, are standard on the Lariat and Tremor.
Under the hood, the 2025 Ford Maverick offers a hybrid powertrain or the turbocharged 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine. It’s worth noting that the hybrid engine is once against standard. Maverick Hybrid can now be paired with all-wheel drive in XL, XLT, and Lariat models, a first for these three trims.
The 2025 Ford Maverick starts at $26,295, excluding the $1,595 for destination and delivery.

I specifically wanted Velocity Blue for my 22 Lariat. I always get compliments from passerby in parking lots about how much they like this color, and so do I! It was deleted for 23/24 for some odd reason and replaced by Atlas blue which is darker and I didn’t like as much.
I hate the revised front end on the 2025 Maverick
I agree with you 110%.
Ugly and cheap looking. I’m glad I got my ’22 Mav, that has the proud look of it’s older brother, the F150. The front face is ots beauty and you sacrificed it for profit. SAD, SAD, SAD.
Ford is supposed to be a leader. This shows ne that Ford is now a follower of Asian autos
The front end of the 25 Maverick does not look good. The facia (same color of the vehicle) under the head light is strange and does not tie in with the grill design. What a same. I would not buy one because of that.
I get compliments on the Area 51 on my 22 Maverick hybrid. Why did Ford delete that color it was popular?
I like the blue as an option.
No color can help this ugly abomination.
