2025 Lincoln Corsair Ditches Active Park Assist 2.0

The Lincoln Corsair was just treated to a refresh for the 2023 model year, and as such, hasn’t received too many updates over the past model year or two. However, FoMoCo does have a few minor updates planned for the 2025 Lincoln Corsair, as Ford Authority has reported over the past few weeks, and now, that apparently includes another one – the deletion of Active Park Assist 2.0, which was previously included in select equipment groups.

Active Park Assist 2.0 is no longer included with BlueCruise on the 2025 Lincoln Corsair, a feature that was previously included in the Premiere Collection III, Reserve Collection III, and Grand Touring Collection III equipment groups for the 2024 model year. However, the 2025 Lincoln Corsair isn’t alone in that regard, as this feature has been quickly disappearing from a number of other Ford and Lincoln models over the past model year or two.

That list began with the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning and has since been followed by the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer, as well as the Corsair’s mainstream counterpart, the 2025 Ford Escape. As Ford Authority reported this past February, The Blue Oval has been muling the removal of automated parallel parking from its Active Park Assist feature in general, as COO Kumar Galhotra noted on the automaker’s Q4 2024 earnings call with investors that this is one of a few seldomly-used features that the automaker plans to remove as it aims to trim another $2 billion in costs from its bottom line. In fact, removing this feature alone could potentially save the automaker a whopping $10 million annually.

In addition to this deletion, the 2025 Lincoln Corsair is gaining a few things – including extended trial periods for Lincoln Premium Connectivity, which is a part of the Connected Services plan. Lincoln Premium Connectivity adds select digital features to new Lincoln vehicles, including things like connected-built-in navigation, BlueCruise, Alex Built-In, SiriusXM, and wi-fi hot spots, to name just a few. Additionally, the 2025 Lincoln Corsair is also getting two new exterior color options – Harbor Gray Metallic Clearcoat and Crystal White Metallic Clearcoat.

I am ditching Lincoln Corsair 2025 because it ditched Active Parking. Good Riddance Lincoln!

Corsair is one of the finest cars Lincoln has ever built!! Love the design and features. I feel it’s not given its fair share of marketing as it should double its sales just from quality stand point.
    We love our 23 GT!!!

I have had active park assist on my 2017 Lincoln MKC and have never used it once. So I get it.

I have had Active Parking on Escapes and now my 2923 Explorer ST…I did use it on a regular basis..It was a feature that alot of competition did not offer…When you spend 60k plus on a loaded vehicle and higher end SUVs , there is an expectation and a nice differentor from the competition..Passengers were also amazased by the capability…I wish Ford would keep it as an option..

KEEP IT! A lot of people like it. And all the technology bells and whistles are helpful, especially to older customers. Unless there will be a way to add it on request, keep it. I now have a corsair and am happy with it. Liked my prior car, a graat car, but the seat comfort is something that is now important
So left them. Likewise, expect and need this, too. Had been planning on another Lincoln. But not if can’t get this. And Ford wonders why so many more people buy Cadillacs.

They have already developed the software algorithms to support this feature. The cameras are all there too. Auto braking capabilities exist as part of the safety system. Bluecruise controls the steering wheel. Everything I can think of hardware-wise is in the vehicle. Why delete it?

Surveys say almost no one uses it and senior drivers would be the lest likely to use it.
