Over the past few years, e-bikes have exploded in popularity, particularly in urban areas, where they make it far easier to get around than cars – not to mention the fact that folks don’t have to pay big bucks for a mere parking space to store them in, either. E-bikes are also increasingly popular because they give folks who may not otherwise be physically able to ride a bike at all a way to do so, and as such, a handful of automakers have teamed up with e-bike companies in recent years to create ones inspired by automobiles – a list that now includes Ford.
Ford is partnering with e-bike manufacturer N+ to offer not just one, but two new automotive-inspired e-bikes – one based on the Ford Bronco, and the other, the Ford Mustang. Both feature 750W hub motors generating 85 Nm of torque for a top speed of 28 mph, up to 60 miles of range, four-piston hydraulic brakes, and a full-color LCD panel. Otherwise, there are some unique features that set the two apart, as one might imagine.
The Ford Bronco e-bike features a GOAT-inspired inspired dual suspension system and a motorcycle-style seat, for example, along with off-road friendly Pirelli Scorpion Enduro M hardwall 27.5″ x 2.6″ tires. It comes finished in Area 51 as standard for $4,500, though customers can choose from 10 other colors for an additional $390.
As for the Mustang e-bike, it’s available in two versions – a regular one, and a special, limited-edition 60th anniversary model, though the latter is only available through participating Ford dealers. It utilizes Pirelli Angel GT semi-slick tires and a conventional bike seat to cater more toward on-road performance, and starts out at $4,000 with Carbonized Gray paint. As is the case with the Bronco, customers can choose from 10 other hues, but it’ll cost them $390 extra. Both e-bikes are available to order now at Ford-Bikes.com, with deliveries slated to begin later this year.
We’ll have more on these new Ford e-bikes soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for 24/7 Ford news coverage.

Wrong direction Ford… you put the Bronco name on a bike not allowed on single-track trails, with a hub drive motor (real e-MTBs have a motor at the crank), a fork with only 120mm travel and weighing a hulking 70 lb.?
Embarrassing! You should’ve teamed up with Trek, Specialized, Santa Cruz, etc. to build a real eMTB that could be ridden on single track mountain bike trails.
I’m a Bronco owner and enthusiast and this embarrasses me!
Focus Jim focus!! (Not the car lol)
Starting Prices at $4,000 and $4,500! At those prices, change the drive assembly, make a removable battery system, including adding 2 additional batteries… Just for starters!!
Will these have BlueCruise?
