Ford Argentina sales increased 23 percent to 4,241 units in July 2024 compared to July 2023. The figures placed Ford as the third best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota and Volkswagen.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Ford Bronco sales totaled 18 units
- Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 266.67 percent to 165 units
- Ford EcoSport sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
- Ford F-Series sales decreased 97.96 percent to 1 units
- Ford Kuga sales increased 3300 percent to 34 units
- Ford Maverick sales increased 78.68 percent to 486 units
- Ford Mustang sales decreased 87.5 percent to 1 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 34.23 percent to 2,843 units
- Ford Territory sales decreased 32.04 percent to 490 units
- Ford Transit sales decreased 2.45 percent to 199 units
During the first seven months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales decreased 10 percent to 19,917 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Argentina sales solid performance in July solidifies the brand’s momentum in the country, which represents the second consecutive monthly increase after June – and after having suffered a previous five-month period of contraction. In fact, the 4,241 deliveries represent the best volume in Ford’s recent history in the Argentine market, and allowed it to climb onto the podium for the first time in a while.
July’s solid numbers were driven by improved sales of several Ford Argentina models, led by the locally manufactured Ford Ranger. The pickup continues to increase in popularity and win over more customers, further establishing itself as the brand’s best-selling model in that and other South American nations.
Likewise, July’s improvement was helped by other models which recorded double, triple, and quadruple digit increases – in the case of the low-volume Ford Kuga. Among them, the most significant increase was the Ford Maverick, which almost doubled its volume year-on-year and almost matched the Ford Territory’s figure.
