Ford Brazil Sales Jumped 119 Percent In July 2024

Ford Brazil sales increased 119 percent to 4,260 units in July 2024 compared to July 2023 results.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Ford Bronco Sport sales totaled 271 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 60.1 percent to 309 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 436 percent to 134 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 137.4 percent to 2,685 units
Ford Territory sales increased 791.23 percent to 508 units
Ford Transit sales increased 45.41 percent to 317 units

During the first seven months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales increased 69 percent to 23,860 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Ford Brazil sales once again registered a dramatic increase in July, representing the best monthly performance in the brand’s recent history in the South American country. With the massive triple-digit increase, Ford more than doubled its year-over-year volume and set a new record as an importer in the Brazilian market. This is Ford Brazil’s fourth consecutive increase for 2024.

Notably, all of the brand’s models managed to register large double- and triple-digit increases in July. As usual, registrations were led by the new Ford Ranger, which again posted a triple-digit increase in the month and moved into the second spot of the best-selling midsize pickups, displacing the Chevy S10 for the second consecutive month.

Additionally, both the Ford Territory and Ford Mustang also saw dramatic triple-digit gains that significantly improved their market share in Brazil. Notably, the compact crossover represented the brand’s fastest-growing nameplate in both July and year-to-date totals.
