Ford Bronco, Ranger Raptor Performance Tune Revealed

Among its vast array of upgrades, the Ford Performance catalog has long offered calibrations for various vehicles that unlock extra power. Of course, one can simply opt to have a local shop tune their vehicle, but the beauty of obtaining these calibrations directly from the automaker is that they enable one to retain their factory warranty, rather than taking the oftentimes extreme risks associated with the alternative. Now, owners of the Ford Bronco Raptor and Ford Ranger Raptor have a pretty enticing Ford Performance Parts calibration to purchase, too.

The latest Ford Performance Parts Calibration is designed for both the 2023-2024 Ford Bronco Raptor and 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor, each of which is equipped with the twin turbocharged 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine. In stock form. the Ranger Raptor churns out 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, while the Ford Bronco Raptor makes 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet. This one upgrade ramps those numbers up to 455 horsepower and 536 pound-feet of torque, however, and it also optimizes shift points and improves throttle response.

For an MSRP of $825, that’s a pretty enticing way to add serious power to both Raptor models, levels that actually top the Ford F-150 Raptor’s twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost output of 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. The calibrations can be purchased online – here for the Ranger Raptor and here for the Bronco Raptor – and one can use their FordPass Rewards points, too. After that, customers must take their vehicle to a dealer for installation, but they also retain the Ford Performance three-year, 36,000-mile parts warranty.

Better yet, those that plan to attend the upcoming Raptor Rally at the Ford Performance Racing School in Fairfield, Utah on September 21st can also score 20 percent off these calibrations, as well as other eligible Ford Performance parts. The Ford Raptor Rally cost $500 to attend, and includes the owner of any Raptor model and a guest, who will participate in one day full of off-road experiences and other goodies.

Don’t complain, this is a good thing from Ford. Give credit where credit is due. Especially when they have made so many so so many bad decisions lately and over the past few years
